Chris Gardner entered the world on February 9, 1954, in Milwaukee.
He is a business owner, stock broker, and motivational speaker from the United States. Christopher Jarrett Gardner is his son, and Jacintha Medina Garnder is his daughter.
Chris’s childhood was very hard. His stepfather was mean to him, his mother, and his sisters. Even though his mother Bettye Jean was so rude and mean to him as a child, he learned to believe in himself and be self-reliant.
He sticks to his beliefs. He was a neglected and abused child who never learned to read or write. So, he decided not to be helpless like that again. He overcame all the odds and became a very successful businessman in the United States.

While he was living with Sherry Dyson, he started dating Jackie Medina, who was in dental school. A few months after the affair, she found out she was pregnant.
