Well, when Air Fryers first became popular, Becky and I tried out different brands to see which ones we liked the most.
Air fryers come in many different styles. Some are in the shape of a basket or an oven, and some are built into microwaves and oven/ranges.
Wondering what those results are for air fryers and what kind would work best for you and your family? Read this post about The Best air Fryer to learn more.
One thing to keep in mind is that not all air fryers cook the same. They all have their own ways of cooking. Each recipe should be used as a guide, because something that takes 10 minutes to cook in my air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit may only take 8 minutes in yours.
When you first start cooking, you should always check the recipes to make sure your cooking time doesn’t need to be changed slightly.

CAN I USE OIL?
Some people think that air fryers don’t use oil, which isn’t true. The air fryer DOESN’T use oil like a deep fryer does, but you can still put a little oil in it.
In fact, you don’t need to use any oil at all. However, spraying a little oil on some foods can help them get even crispier in the air fryer.
Our post The Best Oils for the Air Fryer has more information about this.
HOW DO I BEGIN?
As soon as you choose an air fryer, you can start using it.
Every air fryer should come with a manual that tells you what to do after you take it out of the box. For example, you might need to run a primer session before you can use the air fryer.
After that, you might not know where to start.
We made a helpful cooking guide that you can print out and keep on your fridge. We give it away for free.
Here is the guide to cooking with an air fryer. In our store, you can also buy the cooking guide as a magnet.
AIR FRYER RECIPES
People also don’t use air fryers because they don’t know what they can make in them.
When air fryers first came out, people did use them to reheat food or heat up frozen food. Even though that is true, and some frozen foods even have instructions on the package, the air fryer can be used for a lot more than just reheating.
Did you know that the air fryer can also be used to BAKE and make all kinds of recipes?
